Your old cabinets are absolutely good enough for painting, as long as they’re structurally sound. Cabinet painting is a fantastic way to update your kitchen without investing in new cabinets.

P.S. don’t worry about your existing hardware—we can remove that, make the old screw holes go away, and get the new ones perfectly installed for a total makeover.

Your kitchen, your cabinets, your vision—our expertise! Let’s get to work. But how? Introducing The Gables & Grove Cabinet Painting System, designed to deliver exceptional cabinet repaints, every single time. Let’s take a look at it.

  1. Let’s take a look—schedule an appointment: Start your kitchen transformation by either scheduling a free quote appointment or calling us—we’d love to hear your kitchen painting dreams!
  2. Get a Quote: During the appointment, one of our consultants will hear your vision and expectations, and then provide you with a detailed quote for the painting project ahead. This will clearly lay out all costs and timelines involved, ensuring you know exactly what to expect on your journey.
  3. Choosing to work with Gables & Grove: Once you’ve reviewed the roadmap and are ready to proceed, you’ll join forces with us by signing a contract and making a deposit. This lets us start planning your project in detail.
  4. Meet Your Project Manager & Get Prepared To Start: After you’ve partnered with us, you’ll meet your dedicated Project Manager who will be your guide to a perfect and successful ending. They’ll assist you with paint samples for your cabinets, color choices, answer any questions, and schedule the project according to your availability.
  5. Getting Started: With preparations complete, your kitchen transformation gets underway. Our team of branded professional painters start by protecting your kitchen like an episode of Dexter—anything that shouldn’t be painted is fully masked! Then we remove hardware and those little rubber bumpers that most cabinets have, prep and sand, and make any repairs. Finally it’s time to prime and paint. When everything is dry, we remove all the masking and clean up, and then return hardware and new rubber bumpers—the small details matter! Environmentalism and doing our part in reducing waste is important to us, so rest assured that your cans and buckets will be cleaned and recycled. Also important are the regular updates and quality control checks that are part of our Project Manager’s duties, keeping you informed and reassured every step of the way.
  6. Survey Your New Kitchen (Final Walkthrough): Upon completion, you and your Project Manager will walk through your new kitchen, ensuring that everything looks great. We’ll address any final touch-ups needed and complete a Final Completion Form.
  7. Celebration! Pay Your Bill…and Leave a Review: Now that your kitchen is exactly as you envisioned, it’s time to celebrate your successful journey by settling the final bill. We would love to hear about your experience, so please consider sharing the highlights by leaving us a review.

You’ve heard us say this before, but we’ll say it again: you’re the centerpiece of this transformational kitchen journey, and we are here to guide you, ensuring a smooth, professional, and satisfying painting process that brings your vision to life. Should you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. After all, even heroes need guidance sometimes!

We sure do, and we’re happy to report on some of the pretty cool commercial work we’ve done!

We’ve worked on lots and lots of custom homes for GCs and home builders, helping them put the literal final touches on masterpiece single-family homes and condo/penthouse units.

We’ve also repainted office buildings and spaces (dental, medical, law offices), parking garages, schools, different restaurants, several beauty salons, The Junior League of Miami in Coral Gables, half a dozen YouFit gyms, the Natuzzi showroom in the Design District, a Fendi storefront at Merrick Park, Green’s Garage in Coral Gables, Victoria’s Secret on Lincoln Road, and even a few walls in Wynwood.

Most recently, we were hired to paint and complete multiple sections of the new Formula 1 race track at Hard Rock Stadium. Vroom vroom!

We have many years experience working with general contractors, architects, and designers on new construction and remodel projects, providing drywall finishing and painting as well as exterior priming, painting, and staining. Did you say drywall finishing? Yes, we did—check out our Drywall Learning Center! Do you have an office, facility, school, etc. that news repainting? Visit our commercial page to learn more, or book a free appointment today!

The average cost can vary based on the size and number of cabinets, as well as the type of paint and technique used. For a specific quote, please contact us directly.

This is a hugely popular question! A lot depends on your personal style and the style of your kitchen. Nowadays, the most popular kitchen cabinet colors reflect a Miami vibe, the love for sleek and modern aesthetics, and an appreciation for natural light. These trends have led to an emphasis on light, neutral, and minimalist colors that can brighten up a space, and make the kitchen look clean and airy. Let’s do another Top 5!

  1. White
A timeless choice, white cabinets can make a kitchen feel clean, bright, and spacious. Shades like Benjamin Moore’s Decorator’s White and Sherwin Williams’ Pure White are great options.
  2. Light Grays
Light gray offers a soft, neutral look that can still add some depth and contrast. Consider Benjamin Moore’s Gray Owl or Sherwin Williams’ Repose Gray.
  3. Greige
A blend of gray and beige, greige creates a warm yet contemporary look. Try Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter or Sherwin Williams’ Accessible Beige.
  4. Soft Blues
For a pop of subtle color that still maintains a light and airy feel, soft blue can be a fantastic choice. Try Sherwin Williams’ Rain or Benjamin Moore’s Soft Chinchilla.
  5. Two-Toned Cabinets
For those looking to make a more distinctive design statement, the two-toned cabinet trend involves painting upper and lower cabinets in different colors. Often, this is done with a lighter shade on top and a darker one on the bottom to ground the space. For instance, white on the upper cabinets and a darker gray or blue on the lower ones.

We understand that you may feel overwhelmed, so, here’s a challenge for you: schedule an appointment for a free quote with one of our consultants and find out what your kitchen could look like and what that would cost. We promise you’ll be surprised!

Instead of painting, you could consider staining, varnishing, or laminating your cabinets. Another option is to replace the cabinet doors and drawers.
